If you want to try to work on a relationship after cheating, that can be a valid choice. It doesn’t sound like you do though (also very valid). When you’re making big decisions like this you need to listen to what you want. No one around you (her especially) should be trying to change your mind.
Personally, I wouldn’t trust her. She’s cheated once and love bombing is a huge red flag. Media portrays manipulative people is a unrealistic light. They aren’t usually that smart (just entitled or selfish) and they don’t have clever plans (guilt and shame do the heavy leg work).
Tell him to get some help or you’re leaving, and stop allowing your be to abuse his animal. Call animal control and have an investigation done or record his behaviour. You’re enabling him by not doing this.
