This is where I LOL’d the fuck out of this fiction. Nothing about these three sentences make sense isn’t what real world, but let’s break down a little bit why;
Friend (now boyfriend apparently) just leaves and so it happens that not long after his COACH texts you this, when he has never in a year, or for however long you’ve met your friend, done this before. Mmmkay.
No coach in the history of coaches is going to be texting anybody’s “girlfriend” to get a boy come to practice. If you don’t show up, you get out of the team eventually, simple as that. Nobody is begging him to participate in his sport, much less his coach THROUGH his “girlfriend”.
You know you are not his girlfriend or you would have remembered a conversation like that. The fact that you’re like “omg I’ve had a boyfriend for a year and didn’t even know it” is baffling.
I mean, practice your writing. You’ll get the lies down better.
