I sometimes have a message pop up when I’m doing something else and mean to swipe it away but open it accidentally. Or I read something but need to think about my response or it’s not an emergent thing. I find stopping what I’m doing to respond to a text really distracting. I stop and check and respond 2-3 times a day.
By all means she deserves to have a fun trip in the future and I suggested that too in my comment, but this petty revenge kind of thing is not a good advise for a soon to be married couple.
