It can be incredibly confusing and heartbreaking to experience a situation like this. Thankfully, you have the support of your partner's parents despite the fact that none of you can quite explain or understand what is going on.
The most important thing in this moment is for you to focus on taking care of yourself – physically, emotionally, and mentally. The best way to start doing this may be through journaling about your feelings, seeking counseling to better understand what has happened and make sense of it all, and identifying healthier coping mechanisms as needed. It is important for you to take time for yourself so that you can heal from any emotional wounds caused by this situation before potentially entering into another relationship in the future.
Holy shit man, this scenario is straight out of a Shannon Rice Lewis cartoon. Imagine playing spare prick in your own home and thinking about whether you should end the relationship? You'll be babysitting in no time whilst they go out to discuss baby's future.

Posts must:
include details about the involved parties including ages, genders, and length of relationship, and
request advice in real situations involving two or more people
We are enforcing the two rules listed above by making all titles start with ages/genders in the following format:
[##X][##X], [## X][## X], or [##-X][##-X] where ## is the age and X is the gender (currently M, F, T, A, NB, FTM, MTF but more can be added). You can have more than two ages/genders listed, but you must have at least two at the beginning of your title. Here is an example:
And why are you at this dead end job yourself if you have a degree? Your parents sounds unsufferable.
Despite the fact that I agree that a trade/cert/degree is fairly standard now a day to earn a living and that I agree that it's important you both see eye to eye regarding your future, I don't think it's your parents place to be harassing him on the topic. They're overstepping big time and that would be a massive redflag IMO. His reaction of “every time yall ask I'll wait longer” is also very immature and would raise some flags but it doesn't excuse your parents behavior. If they wanted to boss a 2nd kid around, they should've had a 2nd kid.
I also don't think anyone has to simply swallow your parents advice, they don't speak some sort of gospel, they're just 2 people amongst million. They can have their opinion but it's just that, an opinion.
“Hey…I’d like to talk about how things are going between us…”
You can say how much fun you’ve had and how you want to keep seeing her…and you can also say that you’re concerned because you’re still not interested in being her boyfriend. And then listen to her.
You can also start being a little less available to her. Alternatively, explore why you don’t want a relationship and work in that. ??♀️
Am I missing something? To me, it sounds like you're trying to say you're an introvert but feel you shouldn't be that way in order to be considered attractive.
There is nothing wrong with be reserved and thoughtful my guy. Not everyone likes the loud, outgoing, center of attention kind of guy.
“I worry because I care about you, ya silly goose.” That’s what I would say. Frame it as it is, that she doesn’t cause you to worry but that you are naturally concerned about her well-being, because you love her of course.
My lover is an artist, with a degree from the best arts academy in my country. Many known artists graduated from there. She also finished one of the top schools.
Sorry to break your delusion but a degree from the best art school means little. An artist's value isn't determined by what school he went to but by his skill and what he can make/build.
If you are thinking about commercial art, then there are artists that get paid very well working for big companies and those companies don't care about schools or degree.
There are so many different categories of art. If you are thinking about something abstract like Van gough or mona lisa those kind of abstract art value are based on what people are willing to pay for them because fundamentally these art pieces have little value. ( don't mix finance and money with art)
I think she really is one of a kind. A very bright person, with immense knowledge of visual arts, literature, nature, biology and history
Ok stop lol. If she knows about biology then is this surface level knowledge or expertise knowledge? You don't get very far for having surface level knowledge. People spend their lives dedicating to one subject in their field. You are confusing with general surface knowledge with actual expertise.
If she knows about history then is this surface level knowledge or does she do any deep research into any particular area of history. Same thing for literature.
. Not only she has this knowledge, but she's way above average intelligence. It looks like she sees like 5 times more than other people and it is very inspiring. She uses the most poetic kind of language I have ever heard, I don't recall anyone describing their feelings this way.
How do you define above average intelligence because this is absurd. You don't get good at anything in life unless you have the skill and experience to back it up. You are belittling all these professions by putting her general surface knowledge on a pedestal.
You can be a terrible writer and still write a best selling novel. You can be an expert at literature and find it difficult to find a job. What exactly put her above average intelligence? So far, she sounds more more like a delusion of your imagination.
Maybe I’ve been on Reddit too long but I see right through this

Kinda sounds like you're trying to justify for thinking with your dick than your brain.

It’s more so the sound that gives me the ick. I love him to death, it’s only that one thing that triggers me
