That’s really interesting, “this one” feels more like a term of endearment for me. Not sure if that’s universal in my culture, but certainly I’ve used it in a positive way. It’s hot to glean the tone because it’s in text, but I think I’m inclined to take it in a positive at best, neutral at worst way. Maybe I’m naive.
You sound awfully high and mighty. People sing because it's enjoyable even if they sound like a screeching harpy (me). No one needs to be good at it or have the perfect voice…if it makes them happy then let them be and it should be something you can enjoy together. It's not a competition.
You've picked up on one word but missed the point. She used to the word seduced but what she means is that she wants him to recognize her needs. He is acting oblivious to the fact that these pickup lines turn her off instantly. She wants him to care about her happiness, to care about getting her off or exciting her. She's listened to his needs and followed through, she's asking him to do the same.
Maybe she hasn't been direct enough, only OP knows that.
You could give her your phone number and say if she needs help to let you know. I'm a DV survivor myself and I'm thinking about times when my abuser would jump the fence and sneak onto my property at night, I had noone to come help, protect or defuse, just had to wait for the police to show up, sometimes hours.
Otherwise, just let her know you're there for her. Speak quietly, don't make sudden movements around her, she's like traumatised by this experience.
Thank you for being a good man and wanting to help her.
You should go without him.
