Because abusers are master manipulators and not only will the therapy be unproductive, but they will probably make you out to be the issue and you’ll just be further gaslight by both the therapist and him. In my experience it was actual torture where everyone ripped me to shreds, and I didn’t know what was happening until I left the relationship.
