This will end in tears no matter what. If he hasn't made any motion to leave his wife in those two years, I doubt he will ever leave. You say you've both invested a lot, however he is still with his wife, so it looks that you've invested far more.
I think for your own sake, you should look seriously at moving on. Being the “other” woman cannot be emotionally fulfilling. How long would you want to remain a secret.

I’m not a lawyer, but I’d check legality before moving money out of joint accounts. If you do maintain an account from before you were married that you have not put any money into while you were married-don’t touch that/don’t start putting money into it while you’re still married sínce then there is a case that the balance would convert to a joint asset. Just check on the legality before pulling funds to make sure it is sound.
The operative word here is “first.” You aren't compatible and it's OK to move on to a second , third or fourth love until you find the one who respects you and your life goals, and you complement each other. Do not let this first attempt at love be your last and straddle you with children too early. It's ridiculous he would even date a woman preparing herself for a career if he wants a housewife. You both made the wrong choice in partners.
Let me guess, stay at home mom and the only noteworthy thing you ever did was getting creampied and having squeezed out some offspring so you made that your whole identity?
Also sharing mom struggle memes on facebook most likely.

Honestly if you don’t even want to trust them with something like fertility I don’t think you should be trying to salvage it

How close am i?
But that’s exactly why i asked him out? to show him im not a fat bald man. It’s chicken and egg, really ?
If I got sent to Prison that would hurt my wife and family, so he has already hurt you, you just refuse to hold him accountable.
when you put it like that… there's one option that sticks out as a “fuck no.”
