Has she told you why she is concerned to keep your relationship secret? My first guess would be that she thinks it might make her appear unavailable to other potential mates, including possibly her ex.
I hope you have a chance to talk to a counselor. Living in fear of your mom's abuse (yes, the yelling AND silent treatment is abuse) can't be healthy for you.
Have you talked to your dad about the way your mom treats him? Would he be okay with you dating someone that raged at you the way your mom does? I hope you both are able to find a safe space where you don't feel like you are walking on egg shells.
If you strongly believe that she slept with somebody else than she clearly isn't the amazing person you thought she was. Now, IF….and I do mean IF…..you choose to break up with her over this matter than here's something to consider……she should be fine with it.
If she is so adamant that you cheated on her, than she should have no problem breaking up, right? Why would she want to stay with a cheater who had gotten an std?
If she tries to keep the relationship despite that, it does make it seem suspicious of her motives.
He is not unemployed. He is very successful and I when I meant new job, I mean he currently has one and wants one closer in distance
