I'd love the excuse to stay home to take care of my husband if he was sick but if I really wanted to go, I'd make sure he was set up with everything he needed and text him every hour while I was gone and come back quickly. Is this the same man that made you to pick your own consequences for when you mess up? Like you’re a child that has to be disciplined? Please tell me this isn’t the same man…please tell me you didn’t marry that man?
What exactly are you looking for here? The courage to stand up for yourself? Is this account just for you to vent, because I can totally understand that. Or is this a cry for help because you’re in an abusive relationship, which will only get worse as time goes on. The problem I have is that until you are willing to make changes, no one can help you.

Just work on improving yourself especially on those areas where you fall short, that's all you can do, if she can't see and acknowledge that then that's on her
