I do agree with everything you've said, but would like to add that if you ask someone what they would like and they reply, giving anything else other than what theyspecifically requested and then being upset it wasn't received well is kind of…selfish? to me. I had hyperemesis gravidarum, which actually led to be having to get IM promethazine and IV fluids a couple of times.
