2. The fact that she was about to cheat on you in front of your face is all you need to know. The slap was bad, but it’s nothing compared to the betrayal of your trust. Zero excuses. I would never give her another chance, she’s not worth a damn

3. As a guy in my 40s I would reply something along the lines of “Glad you realize that was out of line. I'll see you around” and just mentally demote her to your friends flat mate again.

   First heartbreak hurts like a bitch, but if you can avoid burning a lot of bridges with drama it's better in the long run.

4. I didn't want kids EVER.

   Then I turned 28 and it's like a switch flipped and it became super important to me.

   I've heard the same story from people in their 30s and even some people who met the right person in their 40s and had kids while they still had time.
