I'm also the extrovert in a couple and sometimes I do want to dress up (never even full on, I'm talking cat ears and face paint whiskers, or something else home made and easy) or go to a big event. I always make sure to ask if theyll dress up or attend events with me rather but my partner is never into it and it really sucks a lot of the fun out of it for me. I don't pressure him at all and i don't get upset but it's always genuinely disappointing to me.
