I think you should reach out to him. Anything related to pedophilia is a disgusting crime, so in addition to serving time he will likely be forced to be an outcast once released (especially since he’ll be a sex offender). If this guy is important enough to be a groomsmen, you could try giving some support. I know the situation with my brother taught me a lot about unconditional love and empathy. Like I mentioned earlier, though, it’s only worth giving support if he’s genuinely remorseful and wanting to change.
