If you only talk about her feelings you can just keep yours to yourself, end the conversation there and keep her happy. But if she uses her feelings, which you “cannot invalidate”, as a way to make you sort of agree on some material things like what has happened, or what are your plans, or even what are your feelings (“I am upset you don't love me”), then I don't really agree it should work like this. I would like to hear from reddit to to handle it.
You should probably just stay out of Josh's business. Also, you're “good friend” told you something with basically the only intent of it being to upset you. There's a lot to unpack here with that friendship, hopefully you realize it at some point.
