  1. Why would it be a red flag. He shows that he cares about you and is ready to focus on dating. I think it’s healthy/ normal to delete tinder after staring to date. 1. You don’t want any misunderstandings 2. You shouldn’t be talking to someone else while seriously dating someone.

  2. Honestly it sounds like you both need therapy, individual and couples if you want any chance of salvaging this relationship. What you did was obviously not ok, you know that or you wouldn’t have posted here. I don’t understand why you are being so combative in your replies, but it does say a lot to your maturity level. As does your actions in trying to compete with a dead woman. Your boyfriend does not sound like he is handling the situation well, either, which is why I said he needs therapy, too. But that does not excuse your actions.

You need to come clean to him, apologize, and ask him to get into therapy with you. Or end the relationship.

  3. You’re wrong.

The info is extremely helpful in dismissing your point.

However, if you are looking to pursue adoption without the birth father’s consent, you may only do so if …

First part of your quote is stating that if you can only pursue adoption without the father’s consent in specific circumstances.

… you may only do so if you are not married to the birth father or the birth father is absent.

Second part is defining those circumstances (where you can pursue adoption without the birth father’s consent) as when either the biological mother is not married to the biological father or the biological father is absent.

Again, I agree it is unethical. But the quote you referenced is stating that if one of the two circumstances are met, it would allow a mother to legally place her child for adoption without the father’s consent. It doesn’t require that both circumstances be met.

  4. Do you want to raise your kids in a household with no love? Do you want them exposed to contempt and spite? Because you won't be able to love him again, you'll never forget what he did to you, and forcing yourself to on-line with him will not create a nurturing environment for your children. And if you took him back, he wouldn't stop, at least not for a meaningful amount of time. Reach out to family, friends. Get support. If you have a good relationship with your parents it might be a good idea to move in with them or they can come stay with you. Or maybe sisters, brothers, good friends even. Hell if you and your MIL/FIL have a good relationship that's an option too. There are a few subreddits about surviving infidelity, look them up, sorry I don't know them, I'm hoping others chime in. Talk to a lawyer to get the ball rolling. Also don't let him back into your house.

  5. He views you as an object. He’s sharing his o jest with other men. He probably doubly gets off because he’s FORCING you to do it and you’re doing it.

You poor thing, please don’t wait the rest of your 20s with this man. Please dump him ASAP

  6. Putting aside not marrying her.

Your problem is lack of determination to move on. You had empty promises that had you return.

You should just end it. Make the decision and do it.

What’s to stop you just taking the easy return again? You need a mental acceptance that it’s over and it’s done. Can you do it?
