Tbh I don’t really buy the “if he wanted to, he would” thing espoused by a lot of folks on and off Reddit. Marriage means different things to different people. I was with my partner for more than a decade before we got married, because we got together in college and we both saw marriage. mostly as a precursor to buying a house and having kids. So we were both fine with being “functionally married” until those things came into view.

You cant really have control over how she will react. Nor is there an easy answer. You will have to break up with her and tell her you dont see each other super long term and just want to be single/see other people.
