I think that just plays into their hands of thinking he's overly dramatic and/or creating conflict.
I would just turn off notifications and quiet quit. If they aren't getting what they want from him, they'll come to him. Maybe eventually realizing what they've done, or just leaving him free to find his own happiness.

Oh honey, no. Just no. They ruined everything when they had the audacity to ask permission. They would've ruined anything anyways regardless of whether they received permission or not. It's all still cheating. They were just up front about it. I know you don't want to hear about divorce. The only other solution is to remain living together, but to be “separated” so you can both continue to see other people. . .But that alone would still be awful for the kids. I know you want a stable home life, but that simply doesn't exist anymore in your home. I'm sorry this all happened to you. Divorce isn't always worse for the kids. Sometimes it's for the best.
