He snapped and started making unreasonable demands on you – and they were completely unreasonable. Then he back peddled and said he was sorry, but it was only because you were too sensitive, not because he did anything wrong. This will become a theme in your relationship if you allow it to continue. It's been 3 months, and this is all the information you need to know that if you move forward with this relationship, you're likely to be miserable for a very long time. And he isn't going to care. This isn’t really about her unfortunately it’s his lack of awareness and healthy boundaries friend time is friend time and it’s important but partner time is also important and leaving a date to go rescue a friend who just is upset not actually in peril is not great partner behavior and it likely won’t change I’m really sorry you could always address it but if he can’t see it honestly it’s unlikely you will be respected and heard and may need to let go and if he gaslights you and acts like you’re wrong in asking that your time be honored and continue to kill her with kindness and act oblivious he tells her you spoke or gaslights and minimizes he’s not a good partner for you regardless of how you feel which is really hot and painful
