Only his cats were at the apartment for the first two-ish months and my cats were at my parents place. After they were acclimated, we brought my cats in and kept them confined to one room for probably a week then slowly introduced them supervised and kept them separate overnight. They seemed to be doing fine so we let them integrate and it’s been fine for the most part since then. His cat was actually kinda nice to me when i was watching them for a week before, so maybe it is the adjustment. But when i’d visit his apartment before we moved in she didn’t really like me either.
