The issue was lying, because it was nothing serious but lying made it seem as though it was. That aspect you could chalk up to experience, and say you won’t do it again. You don’t owe him a justification. He doesn’t have to agree- you have right to unilaterally end the relationship at any time, for any reason or no reason at all.
“I don’t think you are right for me” is all you need to say. Then I’d block him, and make sure all mutuals know that you’ve ended it, and ask them not to give him any information about you, and block him.
I wasn’t there, so I can’t be 100% certain but I’m probably 95% that is was not a pity compliment but a real, honest fact that she was feeling & wanted to tell you so. It is very hot to accept a compliment, but you should try to believe in them. Especially from friends. Good luck to you, my friend

Honestly, I think you should quit the tender thing and dating and really focus on working on yourself and your kids. How many strangers do you have to sleep with before you stop feeling like you missed out on your youth? Because self that’s the real problem- you’re trying to squeeze all your lost time in and it’s not going to work. You’re not 21 and single, you’re a 27 year old mom. Appreciate what you have and focus on those goals

It's a heartbreaking situation but you weren't installing some curtains. It was your daughter's wedding and you were giving her away. You bounced and didn't go to the reception nor do the father/daughter dance. You did what you could. Stop beating yourself up and concentrate on supporting you wife and daughters.
Btw, I have two sons and my husband barely made it to both births. I would not be giving him grief over this. You can't go back in time. Only forward and onward.
