This is reasonable. However we can say maybe he says “ after the mom gives birth to the baby she should only dedicate herself to the family. She should never go back to work because her life should be only dedicated to her family!” Now this is a red flag.
TLDR : starting off your relationship looking for red flag shouldn’t be , what you look for first. Look for communication.Also a sentence shouldn’t be a red flag without context first. Once context is given that’s when a red flag can be labeled as a red flag.

Women like this always need to be the victim of societal oppression, no matter how much you give. No matter what you do (vacations, nannies, cars, chores, running baths, childcare, etc.) it will never be enough – and it doesn’t matter to her that she provides you with far less than you provide her. At my university (way back when) you could request an “emergency appointment”. They keep a couple slots open for people who need immediate help. When I finally realized I needed help, the wait list was so long. At first I felt guilt calling myself an “emergency” but I realized things would get so much worth a month down the line.
