I tell him all the time that I don't deserve to be treated like that and he says to get over myself (with alot of swearing added in). He says I don't deserve respect because I am not his mother.
I don't know why but when he changes back and is his sweet loving self and says hoe much he loves me and everything I think its going to be ok and then he will say something awful the next minute but then something nice again. It is so confusing to me because he somehow makes it so that whenever I think about ending things all I can think of is the nice things I will be missing and that love he shows me.
Even tonight when he was screaming all that stuff he stops and says ok let me say it in a loving way “Baby, I love you so much, but please for the love of god get the f**k over yourself”. I don't even know what that means because I wasn't even doing anything at the time.

I don't think you'll lose her. Just be with her. Even if you don't talk just sit with her. She will appreciate it. When you see her again give her a big bear hug and let her know you care. Her feelings about the loss do not mean she doesn't care for you.

Sounds like you just avoid conversations until they go away. Never solving any problem and eventually the same or related issues reoccur.
