We are staying with them on a holiday we online together in the states
I got sucked in and now I’m wondering how and why I fell for any of this or put up with even half of it.
It wasn't worth it.
She messaged my cousin who she became close with that she has to remove her off socials for “part of her healing” but I already told her.
She's not messaged the rest of my family and that's not really her to do that.

OP said that not only did he find out he was cheated on, it was via a Snap that ended up spreading around the college he attended before he found out. That's pretty messed up tbh. So is trying to win the Trauma Olympics.
I don’t know why you expect empathy when you have none. You had two kids with a married man in order to hide the affair you literally named them after there’s half siblings from their fathers first marriage. Then you left the country, leaving a six year old in charge of her dying father and a four-year-old because well she’s a girl and it’s cultural. The your six year old all the way up to age tan took care of her dying father, including bathing his hot body and helping him on the toilet because again culture? Then you essentially ignored her for your son because culture? We’re shocked that she didn’t get pregnant because well she was angry after being abandoned, and having to take care of her brother and father and clearly the only answer to anger is teen pregnancy. You were then shocked. She actually made it into college level and graduated because well she’s a girl. Your son who your favor is not even close to a successful and therefore can’t support you and the way you assume you deserve even though you don’t. Your daughter ran away and met a nice man who recognizes her worth, and the two of them together with no contact because of your abusive delusional up bringing/abandonment and you were here wondering why she won’t send you money? also, I forgot, it’s cultural so none of your actions count and you’re shocked. Your daughter has no empathy plus a large bank account for you. Did I get that right?
Parents are absolutely AHs. Husband as well. I will say that the sister should have at least told you in advance. Maybe had you as a support person while she told them. She put her gf in a very awkward and unpleasant situation. It could have ended violently.
