So many things can happen for this man to murder you without you ever doing anything wrong.
C) A man capable of killing infants to get back at someone is capable of doing great harm WHENEVER he's upset. It's not like “No cheating, no anger issues.” He's the kind of guy to beat your face in if he feels disrespected, throw boiling water if you don't make dinner fast enough, get you fired by taking a baseball bat to your bosses car because he thinks your job takes too much of your time. A man who would even say such a thing should honestly be locked in a cage somewhere and never have contact with the outside world.
This man is going to hurt you and your family if you keep him in your life. You need to report what he said to the police, let everyone in your family know what he said, and then file for restraining orders. You need to notify your work and the building you on-line in, if you have a landlord or roommates, that he is dangerous and has threatened to kill you. Then block him, never see him again, and for good measure let his parents now what he has been saying and doing and that he may need some psychiatric help before he hurts someone and before he ends up in prison.

I don’t know if you have tried this yet as a last ditch attempt, but since your mother isn’t helpful and functions more the the apologist, have you considered pulling your sisters together with you to meet up and discuss all this? As far as your mother goes, that is not fair of her to ask you to light yourself on fire to keep yourself warm for her sake. You need to do what’s best and mentally healthy for you, rather than live your life a certain way just to please a parent. If you must cut them out and feel you will have more peace of mind after, then go ahead. You can be cordial with them at lg family get together, but focus on you and your relationship with parents rather than them, their plans or anything to do with them.
