Oh no so we'd be talking about my evening then he'd say “do you know what would make it better? Me at your door hot.” Then I'd joke saying “well that would be a surprising Saturday” and it would be light-hearted, but idk it's just rubbed me up the wrong way as a Catholic. I just feel like this is leading down a path I don't feel comfortable with.
I’m the first person to come here to say that (in context) if given a choice between a relationship and a friend, choosing the friend is almost always correct.
But like I said, context is everything. His friend sexually assaulted you. This isn’t a case of you being insecure and not wanting your partner to have a life outside of you; this guy is objectively a piece of shit.
Here’s the deal though. Even if your boyfriend ended the friendship now (which he’s clearly not going to do), why were you not bothered that he didn’t cut him off at the time before you dated? In saying that, I’m not even remotely taking anyone but your side here. I’m just pointing out that your friend and now boyfriend remained friends with someone who’s a piece of shit.
Why would you expect anything to change now just because you’re dating? Again? He absolutely should cut him off, but given the context, the hot truth is that your boyfriend is also a scumbag. I’d walk away.

I understand that. But you’re enabling her though. Maybe she would be forced to make changes if she didn’t have you doing everything.
Yeah saw she deleted the post. I guess it can get a bit much when everyone points out what u really don't want to admit to yourself is true.
She probably thought she married a good man.. not someone that wanted a trophy wife.
