Why is this person still giving this lying ass monster any time/attention? I would NEVER continue a relationship with someone who lies, especially over something that could potentially kill you. & then the car situation.. OMG. What is keeping op tied to this man?! Feelings??! Pffffffft. Not worth it. This guy is a bad person.
So I was friends with a guy who was both was chronically in abusive relationships. His parents were abusive. His first long term relationship was abusive.
I was perpetually there for him. Always listening, giving solid advice etc but his spiral continued.
Eventually the abuse became reciprocal. He’d get with someone who would fight with him and they’d fight and drink and fight and drink. He had a couple DV arrests at this point.
I got to basically where you are, wanting to help but just throwing that help into a black hole.
Then, I got a phone call from a mutual friend that my buddy had killed his girlfriend. They were drunk and started fighting and he pushed her and she cracked her head open. Both lives gone at that point.
Looking back, there was nothing I could have done to prevent it and I now realize I should have insulated myself from him sooner. People like this are on a suicide mission. The girl he killed WANTED him to kill her, as fucked up as that sounds. It’s darkness and alcoholism at its peak. Stay far far away from that shit.
You know it’s public, right? We get curious when a creep is so adamant that it’s cool for a grown man to fuck a high school girl. The answers are usually pretty obvious. It’s pretty alarming to hear an educator dismiss the seriousness of grooming. Please tell me you’re the girl’s softball coach?! I’m a middle aged married lady who doesn’t fuck with kids. You can scroll my very public history and see pretty clearly why I hate creeps.
If you want to defend creeps like OP so assiduously maybe hide the shit you don’t want ppl to know about? Now I taught you something!
