10000000% this. My husband and I got married for health insurance purposes, so our wedding was just a courthouse thing with nobody else present aside from the witness. We never would have married were it not for insurance, and I’m grateful for it because I’ve had chronic health issues for forever. So we did that, spent the $65 or whatever for the license, and then actually had money for a nice long relaxing trip to celebrate just by ourselves. Never personally understood the appeal of a traditional/large wedding.
He is a grown man, and if he is old enough to have a girlfriend, he is old enough to discuss normal bodily functions that happen to every woman on the planet.

I, for my part, wouldn't want to have a partner that keeps on mocking people over things, they didn't ask to be born with tbh.
I mean, it's your decision in the end, but to me that doesn't really show a great personality – so there are other problems I'd say..

Did it gross you out when OP’s gf reiterated that she wanted kids for years, only to wait until they got engaged to mention in passing, as they’re about to fall asleep, that she actually doesn’t want them?
