This is so incredibly minimizing to anyone that doesn't function the way society expects. “Just remember” is like telling someone who is depressed to just be happy. The brain doesn't work like that. Sometimes keeping a running list of ideas of things to do will vastly help someone like me, who gets decision paralysis very easily. I can decide to do something nice, but am frozen with what to actually do. Having a list of prior ideas helps me a ton.
I did explain why I made her go through the buying process, but I don't think it helped, She is also very aware of why I'm stressed and in a bad mood, we are both in the loop of every facet of each others lives, so nothing is a secret between us,
Women have been conditioned to be caretakers and to always put others first. Men are allowed more agency over themselves and their happiness. It makes sense that more Men would feel comfortable leaving. I’d say there are just as many women who want to leave but just can’t get around the guilt and can’t face the public shaming they would get.

Dumping you all the time is really manipulative. You don’t deserve to be on a constant emotional rollercoaster like that. You also might be right in noticing this only happens when you’re not available to her. You may really love her, but she is not treating you with respect — ultimately because she doesn’t respect herself. She’s not going to change. I hope you protect yourself
Here’s a good one to illustrate. She cleans the bathroom (and does a very thorough, good job). When she finishes, she makes me stop whatever I’m doing to come see how clean the bathroom is. Every time. It’s more than a “hey you could at least say thank you for my work”, it’s “ come look what I did and give me praise.”
