I think you need to see a counsellor who specialises in Bereaved By Suicide to help you navigate this process.
People are sometimes selfish and protective when they are grieving. They can't see past their own pain.
Over time, maybe they will give you a copy of the letter. But you also have to come to terms with the fact they might not.
Get. The. Fuck. Out. You are being so incredibly abused and gaslighted. He is doing this sick “love bombing” thing where he convinces you to stay because “he just lives you so much,” and then making tlyou go through with his sick fantasies or whatever the he'll they are, AND THEN BLAMING YOU FOR THE CONSEQUENCES!!! I guarantee you this won't stop. This will just drive your mental health right into the ground, and nothing will ever get better in this so-called relationship. Go back to your family. Call the domestic abuse hotline and go to a shelter. Do whatever you have to do to get away from this sick, twisted, disgusting person.
I’ve found a lot of great information through the neurodiversity collective. I’m still learning all the time so I really appreciate you speaking up and sharing your story. I had a student almost take out a line of kindergarten students the other day – I think because he’s not super aware of what’s going on around him and he explained that he can’t react quickly to directions ( I thought I had given him enough information/ directions to avoid a collision – I was wrong and that was on me and we problem solved that he could move slower in the hall way and I can give directions differently and give him processing time.).
