“Getting destroyed” in the comments is not a thing, especially on a throwaway. I came here to get some perspective in a moment of frustration, which has since passed. I have also reviewed and commented where I felt Redditors tried not to jump to conclusions and provided useful advice. I’ve also tried my best to reward those individuals and those who got downvoted to hell for speaking up.
That still doesn't mean he'll poison her. How do you go from him hating her to he'll poison her? Nothing in her last post states that he would. She needs to contact an Attorney.
Yeah I never understood the whole “you should love them no matter what!”. Like no, if my partner gains 200 pounds I’m not going to be attracted to him. If he gets a face tattoo I’m not going to be attracted to him. I’ll love him as a person but I won’t be able to sleep with him, and sex is an important part of my relationship with a partner.
Yes your body your choice, but that doesn’t mean free from judgement or consequence from various people. You sure as hell bet my partner would lose his job if he got a face tattoo. It’s his choice to get one if he did but he’s not free from the consequences of it.
I second this advice. Maybe try asking her if she wants to join you for lunch one day. “Hey, I’m trying this new restaurant, want to check it out with me?” Keep it very low key and low pressure.

If you have kids with him you will be a single parent who works and cleans because his “job is harder”

Never expect to get back money you give out… Aka if it's not in your budget, don't give people money you need for you.
Like that amount wouldn't be worth pursuing in small claims court… All you can do is periodically remind and not give them money again.
