We knew the requirements for family regrouping but we thought 6 months would be sufficient to complete this (3 months max for Marriage, 3 months to start the process for regrouping) And some unfortunate things happened in our lives and had to move from his job and where we were living. That's what I want to think, at least if I could live there for a year or two and he can get this own job, we will have a whole year to complete the process and I'll already be living in Spain and able to send it. My partner hates the UK because of the weather, we've had homophobic comments and abuse in the place we are currently situated (we have lived in the UK for 4 years together so it's not like we don't have experience of this) and he is sick of the way people are treated by the government and how much scamming and scams there is out there.
If I was single, I would be pursuing teaching as a full time career through training. I would love to volunteer in my spare time for a project related to heritage (My degree is in History) and I don't know where I'd be living.
When I was living in Spain, I had a good time, I felt it was manageable and I have a B2 in Spanish so I'm trying to immigrate properly and not be a typical “expat”.
Do you really need an emotionally unavailable friend in your life? My guess is there are good reasons all his exes aren't in his life anymore.

I really think moreso than being “ND,” this guy is a bit slow. Not intellectually disabled, but firmly below average. This has been my experience with people this dirty who don't see any problem with it. I don't actually understand wanting to be with someone like that, at a point it seems borderline unethical.
