Well, no kids involved here…. But in that case yes, that would be understandable so long as solid boundaries are in place. Like, I would want her to just be hanging out with her ex/baby daddy. They shouldn't be having “alone time” with each other. This is also why, if you can't handle your partner being in regular contact with their ex, don't date single parents. Because in that case going no contact with at least 1 ex may not be doable. But in general, expecting your partner to not be in regular contact with former romantic partners is a valid boundary.
