It gets worse with age especially if unmanaged. My family member had mildly depressive and hypomaniac episodes when young. And then the depressive episodes got much worse. The mania got worse by only taking antidepressants. Untreated bipolar can alter your brain, during hypomania/ depression your worldview is altered and it can definitely stick around even during normal phases. Your wife might be misdiagnosed or you both have to talk more about managing possible scenarios of untreated BP. It‘s also very important that she has a psychologist/psychiatrist she trusts.

2. Ya I definitely wouldn’t take him back, this is the end for me. We just had a fight on Saturday (but didn’t break up) and he hasn’t contacted me since Sunday so idk if he was just never going to contact me again. It’s weird
