This sounds like emotional manipulation/abuse, specifically gaslighting. Gaslighting is a tactic used by abusers to manipulate and control their victims by making them doubt their own perceptions, memories, and sanity. In this case, your SO is using their claimed “trigger” as a justification for their abusive behavior, blaming you for causing their emotional distress and then using that as an excuse to verbally abuse you. I suggest you gtfo while you still can. Get in contact with family and friends for support and help getting away from this person, you deserve better treatment than this.
Hell, make a baby and get it over with already
I’m really sorry this happened. It feels like this friend likes what you do for her and doesn’t want the friendship to end, but doesn’t truly value you as a person. The rest of your friends don’t want to “rock the boat” and there’s an emotional difficulty of putting the blame on someone who’s coming out of a battle with cancer. If I were you I would take a step back to get perspective, see how you feel and who reaches out to you over the next few weeks. You might need better, more loyal friends. I hope you have a great holiday despite all this.
He doesn't want you holding on to him in case he has to run from the scary people.
unfortunatly im not trolling or want Karma :/
But yeah thanks for the advice 🙂
I agree with your girlfriend that the first time meeting your parents shouldn’t be during a one week stay at their house. If I was your girlfriend I would get a hotel room regardless.
Because there is no excuse for cheating. If you feel the need to get your needs met from someone else you should end the relationship before starting another one.
I mean I apologized to the person. What else do you want me to do here?
You're still not getting it. You're not going to get your man to stop helping his mom in whatever way he sees fit. So take the advice of so many poster's here and make sure he's not using your joint account to support her, or move on. You're thinking about kids when you need to think about going to a bank branch.
Ffs you are stupid.
If you tell him that you know he lied, he will ask how. When you tell him he is going to be angry, as you invaded his privacy. This will end in a massive fight, and will end the relationship, but you and him will likely say and do things during the fight that you will regret.
So take your pick, be an adult and end the relationship, and tell him everything and how you found out, or ignore it and pretend your relationship is perfect.
There is no middle ground.
