I'm not a fan either, but I know someone who got one and at first I couldn't see anything else every time I looked at her, and now I don't notice it at all. But this is someone I know, not someone I'm getting up close and personal with.
Is there a history of cheating? On either part? Or there other instances in your life where his insecurities become an issue you have to deal with?

if you are so concerned about the funds your parents have accumulated going to your hopefully-soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend's mother, maybe have a prenup that excludes your inheritance from being considered martial assets

If these are the ground rules she's laid out and you've agreed to them, all you can really say is that you'd prefer it if she didn't talk to you about what she's doing with other guys. Most people have an emotional preset to where the idea of their partners with others is upsetting. So you may just be fighting human nature on this one.
