2. 1 – leave her be. You are still grieving the end of this relationship, and trying to initiate “friendly conversation” with her is going to complicate that enormously. You need time and space to let go. Maybe at some point down the road you two can actually be friends, but not yet.

   2 – please find someone you can talk to about all this. A therapist could really help you. It sounds like you are stuck in a place you can't get out of, and I think you may continue to struggle to get over this grief/loss on your own.

3. It probably depends on what type of communicator she is. I’m a very direct person. I’d message her that a dream made some feelings about the past friendship come up, and it would be great if she could offer an explanation for changing her mind, even if it was just her realizing she didn’t want to go through with it. No judgement, everyone has their reasons, it would just really help you to know hers. Or something like that. I’m definitely not a wordsmith

And if you continue with said relationship you'll be a down and out divorcee who's wife drained him of every penny, then left him for a richer man. That is your future if you stay with this woman.
