Just wait until you hear about how shitty the creators of other mass media you enjoy are. The only difference between Rowling and basically every other author, director, actor, musician, game creator whose product you and your friends like is that most of them are careful to keep their crap off of social media. There's a saying “great men are rarely good men” and that also applies to women. J.K. and her TERFdom is just the flavor of the month in terms of outrage (and to be fair, WB who owns this game has its own legacy of abuse). You will be loathe to find any entertainment franchise that isn't tinged with both the unpleasantness of its creator and the venality of the corporation that brought it to you. So if you and your friend want to be consistent your activities will be extremely limited.
