Eh, a bit blown out of proportion. It’s a flower, on a day that women are already being celebrated. I’ve bought red roses for dozens of people with no romance interests in them. I just think red roses are the prettiest, plus they wilt and die very fast and other colors are a lot less appealing (IMO).
Is there any other reason you have not to trust her? Did this guy friend get flowers for his own gf ? Because this seems like it should really be a non-issue. She told you it had no romantic meaning AND deleted the story when asked. If this is the only thing you feel like has hurt your trust in her then yes it’s insecurity.
