I'm aware this sounds kind of shallow. There are other reasons we don't have a ton of sex right now – I have naturally low libido, we have two kids under 3, etc – but it is definitely a factor. I feel like he just doesn't give a shit about his own physical health anymore. The last time I saw him make a concerted effort to improve his fitness was just before our wedding 7 years ago. It's not like he's a couch potato, but he certainly isn't “in shape”. He has a gym membership that he rarely uses. He used to go on longer hikes, but lost his hiking buddy, and family hikes aren't exactly what they used to be.

I guess the real question is… how do I help my husband care about his body again?
