Recently my dad told me that when he married my mom he knew he was going to take the role of dad for my sister. As her dad is not that great and my dad is pretty awesome. He said that he never once saw her as anything other than his kid, and I am so happy he did that. I would hope if I was in a situation I would feel the same. I mean your wife has the right to do whatever she wants technically but it’s just sad to know she favors her bio kids more.
Thank you, the songs and other stuff were things he had written before knowing me though, some were years ago, but I was annoyed about him keeping them, he said it's art and he forgot he had them.

The issue here is that you’re not in a relationship and have the expectations of someone who’s in one.
You’re not being understanding or a pushover. You’re getting upset about a situation where the person you’re talking to has no idea how you feel. Talk about it.
