Honestly? It sounds as if she isn't really ready yet for a physical intimate relationship. While I get that one might ask before kissing the first time, I never heard of a couple that had a conversation about consent before kissing. I mean a kiss can be a quick brush of the lips or a full on make out session. Also, why does she has to be asked? A goodbye kiss is usually pretty quick, does she have to mentally prepare herself for a second of lip to lip contact? I am genuinely curious as I have never heard of this before. I mean I come from a family that kisses each other on the lips too… Like no biggie…
