She is being selfish and childish. It’s what a kid does when things don’t go according to plan. But as an adult, she can take things that much further. She’s using this to manipulate a situation into placing her at the center of attention. In my opinion you should call her bluff next time. By “begging” you have become part of this little routine. My guess is she enjoys it on some level. Next time say this: “Gee, I’m sorry about your leggings. If you want to go sulk in the car fine, I’ll be back to the car in a few hours after you’ve cooled down, but I want a relationship with an adult not a child.” Call her bluff and do not engage her. If this doesn’t help, the next step is obvious.

Take it slow and trust your gut. Also, I know I've done questionable things (haven't cheated, so couldn't say how a mind thinks while cheating), so I wouldn't want to be discounted due to them, if everyone was discounted for poor decisions, then everyone would be discounted.

If I was friends with Sami, I would be struggling with what a push over she is. It angers me that she doesn’t stand up for herself, and I’m a stranger on Reddit.
