Fair and equal aren't the same. If he thinks that basic accommodations are somehow rigged in your favor, I'd wonder how he'd deal with any life struggles that someone not as blessed as he goes through. Sounds super judgmental to me. (I realize the irony as I basically judged him from your description but it pains me to think he would judge someone for needing meds or accommodations.) He is being stubborn as a need to 'win' the argument in the face of all the evidence around him to the contrary.
