When I tell him my feelings are hurt, he says I’m exaggerating. When I say we should equally respect each other, he doesn’t agree. And it sucks because this all just started when he got TikTok and started getting into YouTube Shorts. I understand feeling disrespected but learn to communicate without being cruel. I thought maybe therapy would help us learn to communicate and understand each other but now I don’t think I could see him changing these views. Apparently he’s been holding this in the entire time and these videos inspired him to finally speak up. He only started dating me because he thought I was attractive. He loves me but doesn’t like my personality. Maybe this is just the end and it sucks because I really wish we could work but… do we change our personalities and beliefs in order to do so? Idk.
