Sorry, but my question isn't about breaking up with him. Thank you for your advice, though. Dating locally isn't an option tbh , i won't be here for long either. The place that I live in currently is not long-term either way. I live! in a small town that doesn't offer me anything. This place is basically known for trapping people in horrible financial situations, and there's next to no job offers. Most of my friends are moving by the end of May. And my family eventually want to move away too. So yes it's very hot letting go, which I'm hoping not too, but I don't have anything here for me and everyone's leaving so I don't have much to lose. All this place offers is bars and I happen to not be a drinker ?? He and I also have similar life goals, so if I did move in with him eventually it wouldn't be wasting my time as a 19yr old
Eh, to each their own on this one. I've had friends and my girlfriend cheer at races but it was never make or break. Running NYC is not as much of an imposition for spectators because there's so much to do before and after the race, and the tracking app is decent enough that you shouldn't miss a runner when they go by. Whereas a smaller marathon is just a really long run with not very much to do. I'd hate for my girlfriend to sit around forever waiting for me to run by and then have nothing to do after.
