Does he consistently do his chores well & without any prompting from you? Does he do an equal share of the mental labor – the planning, the coordination- that it takes to run your home? My guess is that the answer to some or all of these questions is no. That’s a character flaw & as far as I can tell, it’s very hot to train adults out of it.
