Nahhhh as someone who has been on dozens of business trips, even ones with 800+ of us coming from different parts of the country and renting out a hotel, we never have to share rooms. I genuinely thought that we were strong enough and loved each other enough to have an open conversation about this. I didn't even talk about sex and told him if he was never going to be comfortable with that, that was ok. He came first with everything in my life and if he didn't want this, that's all he had to say, I tried reassuring him as much as possible and that I never intended for this to hurt him this way, and I apologized and took responsibility for that. I know now that no amount of reassurance of communication would have made this easier for him, and you are right, I should have really taken my time to think about the kind of man he is and just known he wouldn't have gone for this, but unfortunately I can't take back the topic I brought up and he can't take back all the awful things he said to me. So I just want advice on where to go from here. I obviously don't have a time machine to undo all this.
