If she said that there might not be ramifications to your experience, that's just wrong of course. On the other hand, if she said that you might never get justice from your experience, she was right unfortunately.
You cannot know if you'll ever get the satisfaction of “getting revenge” (it might never happen at all too) and you cannot start a proper healing process if you hang on to something as big as waiting for satisfaction. Therefore, if you want to work on yourself and on your bad experiences, you would be better off accepting that what happened, happened. You cannot control the past, but you can make decisions for yourself now and for the direction you would like for your own future wellbeing.
Having said this, this was my own opinion and I don't know for sure that it's the same thing your therapist was trying to say. It would d be worth checking for more clarifications with your therapist in your next session.
