I was wondering the same – where’s the ‘why’? I would have hoped that maybe even back in the college days that mom or dad would’ve asked the girls why they don’t visit when OP is home. Have the parents been letting this go and get worse for 15yrs? Do they know and just not told OP? Does OP know and isn’t saying?

Sorry man, but the brutal truth is that you don’t need to understand her reasoning. She wants a divorce and she can make that happen whether or not you agree or understand.
My advice would be to stop fighting it. Don’t chase after someone who is actively rejecting you. Look at yourself instead of her. When she’s at the gym, you should work on hobbies or other things that interest or excite you. Go to therapy. Find your own gym, take your frustrations out there.
Act confident, treat yourself kindly, act in ways you’ll be proud of, move on to your next life.
It sounds like OP & the bf have talked about this pretty extensively, there are comments from OP about how they’ve had multiple conversations about what terms he prefers 🙂 I fully understand what you mean though, it’s rough out there for anybody who uses multiple pronouns, or especially any neopronouns.

From someone over the other side of the pond who can’t tell one place’s accent from the next, I’m sure you sound lovely. All the Celtic/Gaelic area accents do. I assume it would be like if he was complaining about the way I say what you wear to bed as “pa-JAM-uhs” instead of “pa-JAHM-uhs,” like my ex used to mock my Jersey accent (he’s from Queens so probably he’s wrong hahaha). But there are plenty of people who wouldn’t knock your voice.
