Sorry, but men are different than women. They want to be with women. Like the other guy posted, he doesn't think about doing it because it would hurt his fiance. So see if your boyfriend is like that. If you say it would hurt you, he'll be okay not doing it. I know you feel like you want to give him this fantasy, but trust me, pretty much all guys want to have sex with others. He is not unusual. Because the unfortunate situation is that you were the only source of income in the family. Maybe you thought your gambit would “inspire” your wife, but that’s a supremely dumb reason to quit a job (even a sucky one) especially since you have a child to worry about.

I've been searching for a new job for more than three years because my old job was a dead end concerning both career ladder and salary. Last year I applied for a position in public services (water supply) which I was introduced to by my best friend. Even got a tour at the facility. Everything went well. Two days before my deadline I got a phone call that they have hired someone else. Someone who is actually overqualified but they want the person to replace the head of the department who will retire in a few years.
I know the urge to rage quit but I always had the strength to suppress it because I want to play it safe and don't want to end up jobless.
